Homemade chocolate made with 3 ingredients: cocoa powder, coconut oil & liquid sweetener or stevia. Vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, 100% sugar-free option.

INGREDIENTS
Regular Version:

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tablespoons liquid sweetener (I used pure maple syrup)
  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder (or regular cocoa powder)
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Sugar-Free Version:

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • pure stevia extract, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup + 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder (or regular cocoa powder)
  • pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a mixing bowl mix together mix together melted coconut oil, stevia or liquid sweetener and vanilla extract.
  2. Add in cocoa powder and salt and stir until very smooth and all cocoa clumps disappear.
  3. Pour into desired container (or flat onto parchment paper) and add toppings, if desired.
  4. Freeze until solid, about 20 minutes.
  5. Store in the freezer as these bars can melt at room temperature.
