Moru Curry

INGREDIENTS
Butter milk - ½ litre
Coconut petroleum - two tbsp
Mustard seeds - one tsp
Fenugreek seeds - ½ tsp
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Dry scarlet chilies - 3-4
Curry leaves - 10-12
Ginger - one tsp ( Grated )
Garlic - 5-6 cloves ( Crushed )
Green chilies - two ( Slit into halves )
Shallots - 6-7 ( Thinly sliced )
Turmeric pulverisation - ½ tsp
Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Heat petroleum inwards a pan.
  2. When the petroleum is hot, add together mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds too dry out scarlet chilies.
  3. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
  4. Add curry leaves, ginger, garlic too dark-green chilies too kid for a few seconds.
  5. Add shallots too kid till slightly browned.
  6. Add turmeric pulverisation too switch off the heat.
  7. Add buttermilk too mix well.
  8. Switch on the rut too ready the curry on depression rut til it merely starts to boil.
  9. Do non allow the curry boil.
  10. Keep stirring continuously.
  11. Switch off the heat.
  12. Add common salt too mix well.
  13. Serve Moru Curry alongside steamed rice.
